At Notary Africa, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our marketplace platform.

1. Data Controller

Notary Africa is the “Data Controller” for the information collected through our platform. For queries regarding your data, contact our Data Protection Officer at info@notaryafrica.com.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

  2. Legal Obligation: To comply with Kenyan laws regarding the verification of deponents.

  3. Consent: For any marketing communications you choose to receive.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

  • Retention Period: We retain Identity Data and Transaction Data for as long as required by the Advocates Act and tax laws.

  • Document Deletion: Unless otherwise requested or required for a specific legal reason, digital copies of the documents uploaded for notarization are automatically deleted from our active servers within 30 days of the completed service.
